Thousands vie for new apartment

VietNamNet Bridge – A proposed 226-ha apartment complex in the southern province of Binh Duong has already attracted thousands of interested buyers, even though prices have yet to be set.
The EcoLakes complex in Ben Cat District is being built with a total investment of US$620mil.

The complex is being developed by property developer Setia Becamex, a joint-venture between Malaysian SP Setia Berhad and Vietnamese Becamex IDC.

The Malaysian company said it had developed the project with the highest environmental standards.

The project is part of the 3,700-ha My Phuoc Industrial Park invested in by Becamex IDC, 40 km north of HCM City.

The industrial park is being built in phases, including industrial parks, residential areas, entertainment parks, international schools and plazas.

EcoLakes would be easily accessible from HCM City along National Highway 13, north of the Park and Thu Dau Mot City.

A 35 km closed highway is now being built to link the township to Tan Van in District 9 and HCM City, the port and the new international airport.

Several thousand customers have queued to register to buy villas, houses and apartments, though the selling prices have yet to be disclosed.

An official ceremony will be held in March to sell the villas, houses and apartments.
